Pascale Brochard’s practice includes all aspects of patent prosecution, with emphasis on optics, electrical engineering and general physics. Her practice also includes intellectual property management in SMEs, preparation of infringement and validity opinions, freedom to use studies, and intellectual property training for companies and students.


Ms. Brochard obtained her doctorate in Nonlinear Optics and is a qualified French and European Patent Attorney. She has been in patent practice since 1997. Following her PhD, Ms. Brochard worked as a research and development engineer with Thales Optronics, Scientific Direction. Ms. Brochard acquired a great deal of corporate experience in both large groups and SMEs before joining private practice. She worked in Thales Intellectual Property Department and was Intellectual Property Manager of Varioptic, a SME based in France.  She is currently a Managing Partner of Cabinet Osha in Paris and a professor in the MBA program of Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC).
