Chris Gibson assists with prosecuting foreign and domestic patents in the fields of electrical and software engineering. Prior to joining Osha Liang, Mr. Gibson served in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Technician. He distinguished himself during his service, earning the Air Force Commendation Medal while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2009. After his first enlistment, he enlisted into the Air Force Reserves where he continues to serve as a Radar Technician at Tinker AFB. It is during his time in the Reserves that Mr. Gibson began work for his Electrical Engineering degree where he was consistently on the Dean’s Honor Roll. His hard work and academic achievement garnered him two internships with NASA. The first one was to develop software that would make statistical models for a mobile ground radar used to validate the Global Precipitation Measurement satellite. The second was to design and build an apparatus that will test the performance of Organic LEDs in the presence of galactic radiation.
