Ms. Lecocke focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, licensing, and opinions.  She also counsels clients on antitrust matters, IP portfolios, due diligence, and jurisdictional issues.  She represents clients in a variety of industries, including high-tech, oil and gas, mechanical, industrial, soft-drinks, medical, and plastics.

Prior to joining Osha Liang, Ms. Lecocke practiced law at an internationally renowned AM Law 100 law firm and at the top ranking national intellectual property law firm boutique prior to its merger with an AM Law 100 firm.  Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Lecocke served as a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable Carl O. Bue, Jr., The Honorable James DeAnda (Chief Judge), and The Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Lecocke was a Computer Performance Engineer for the MITRE Corporation where she was a member of a team that designed the Space Shuttle Ops Master Measurement Database System for telemetry data and the Payload Data Interleaver Interface for the Flight Design System.  She has also managed communication software systems as a Computer Systems Supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.  As a Systems Specialist for the United States Air Force Logistics Command Center, she designed the software system for the schedule and maintenance of Air Force aircraft.  During her work at MITRE and at the AFLCC, Ms. Lecocke held a Secret security clearance.

Interspersed with her legal career, Ms. Lecocke co-founded a § 501(c)(3) non-governmental organization that worked with the United Nations to assist refugees in Kosovo after the Kosovo War.  She also spent a year with an international legal recruiting firm as Managing Director for partner and associate placements at AM LAW 200 law firms.

  • Represented a world leader in digital security in a patent infringement case; the case settled to the benefit of the client
  • Successfully defended a major international oilfield services corporation in a patent infringement case
  • Successfully represented a major soft drink company in a trademark infringement case
  • Represented a major electronics company in patent infringement multi-district litigation; the case settled to the benefit of the client
  • Represented and negotiated a settlement for a Mexican producer and supplier of plastic film in a patent infringement case; the case settled to the benefit of the client
  • Successfully represented a developer and supplier of automatic test equipment in a patent infringement case with multiple patents, including obtaining summary judgment on several patents
  • Argued and obtained a directed verdict in favor of an intellectual property law firm shareholder in an allegation of inequitable conduct
  • Provided an antitrust opinion for a major international oilfield services company in a patent infringement settlement with another major international oilfield services company
