Ms. Lecocke specializes in intellectual property litigation, licensing, and infringement, invalidity, and antitrust opinions.  Her experience spans across a wide range of industries – oil and gas, high-tech, mechanical, industrial, and medical devices.

Ms. Lecocke had the honor of serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorables Carl O. Bue, Jr., James DeAnda (Chief Judge), and Kenneth M. Hoyt of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.  Prior to joining Osha Liang, Ms. Lecocke practiced law at an AM Law 100 law firm and at a renowned national intellectual property law firm.

When not practicing law, Ms. Lecocke devotes her time as an Advisor to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.  She also serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Goodwill Industries of Houston.  In 2000, Ms. Lecocke co-founded a § 501(c)(3) NGO assisting war refugees.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Lecocke was a Computer Performance Engineer for the MITRE Corporation where she designed telemetry software programs and databases and flight design systems for NASA’s Space Shuttle Program.  She has also managed communication software systems as a Computer Systems Supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (now AT&T).  As a Systems Specialist for the United States Air Force Logistics Command Center, she designed the software system for the flight and maintenance schedule of Air Force aircraft.

  • Representation of a major electronics company in patent infringement multi-district litigation and settlement of the case to the benefit of the client
  • Representation of a major producer and supplier of plastic film in a patent infringement case and settlement of the case to the benefit of the client
  • Successful representation of a developer and supplier of automatic test equipment in a patent infringement case with multiple patents, including obtaining summary judgment on several patents
  • Obtaining a directed verdict at trial in favor of an intellectual property law firm shareholder in an allegation of inequitable conduct
  • Providing an antitrust opinion for a major international oilfield services company in a patent infringement settlement with another major international oilfield services company
